Pruning

Our expertly trained tree workers and Arborists provide services for all kinds of trees. Furthermore, they can advice you on what is best to keep the health and aesthetic beauty of your tree. Some of the pruning methods approved by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)  include:

Crown cleaning: removal of dead or structurally weak branches and/or foliage from the tree crown to increase the aesthetic beauty of the tree.

Crown thinning: to allow for air and light penetration through crown and to reduce weight. The goal is to maintain the structural beauty and retain the tree’s natural shape.

Crown reduction: cutting the branches back to their point of origin or back to laterals capable of sustaining the remaining branch. This method will help to maintain the structural integrity and natural form of the tree. It wil also delay the time when it will need to be pruned again.

Crown raising: removal of lower branches of the tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, pedestrians, signs, vehicles, and vistas.
